Chili-Infused Nanban Miso: It is said that this food was first eaten as a non-perishable during the winter in southern Aomori during the Meiji era. The moromi (mash) made of soybeans and wheat is used to pickle green chili peppers, daikon radish, carrots, cucumbers, shiso seeds, and other produce. It is best served as a side dish with rice or paired with sake.
CONSE HERB SALT: Herbs from Conse Farm are grown without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizer. Various types of herbs are lovingly nurtured here. Conse products have a profound story. 8base sells the farm’s herb salts, black tea, and other products.
Hachinohe Senbei Soup: This soup is a local dish that has been eaten in the Hachinohe area for more than 200 years.
